Direct Admissions: Texas Hospitalist Group can facilitate your ability to do direct admissions. Just click the name of the person on call and send them an email directly. Your email will go directly into the on-call physician's personal hand-held device. You will then receive a confirmation call within minutes of acceptance and we will locate a bed for your patient in the hospital. Of course you may always just call our answering service and do it the traditional way. If you wish, we are more than happy to email you updates on your patient's progress. We know that the patients you send are YOUR PATIENTS, NOT OURS. We know how much you care for them, and we are more than happy to provide timely and necessary feedback and involve you as much or as little in the inpatient course and discharge planning process.
