US China Relations

Now it was time to show them who was their drugen master and leader.
Okay, no one will get this, so let me just explain it. I am comparing the U.S. to little Alex, the paranoid leader in A Clockwork Orange. When confronted with the inevitable challenge to his authority, rather than come up with a diplomatic solution (engagement), he attempts to maintain his authority by clamping down on his grasp. Needless to say, it doesn't work. I suppose this same metaphor could work for the relationship between the Chinese government and its own people. However, I think it could be a lesson to both houses.
