Great film. Lynne Ramsay is one of the best new directors to emerge in the 90s. Her filmmaking style bares traces of major heavyweights like Tarkovsky and Wong Kar-Wai as well as more recent stars like Lasse Halstrom and even Jia Zhangke. Sort of a blend of "social realism" meets compelling aesthetic vision. I look forward to watching in the years to come.
