To me, the film is like a still life painting. If you like still life’s, you may like this movie a lot. It has a very nice color scheme—lots of brown with red and yellow highlights. Sparks. This is an unusual and quirky film. It raises important questions about tradition, individuality, moral duty and romance. Needless to say, I was bored silly. And even though everyone kept dying, I was the one who needed cardiopulmonary resuscitation by the end. I’m definitely not being fair to this movie, and those who are beyond romantic might really enjoy this film. Here are definitely not three of those people.
