to all. The holidays are a special time of year. A time for friends. A time to be thankful for all the many blessings we have. A time to remember—Barry Sanders. How good it used to be. When any play could be the one. That was the Thanksgiving I used to know. Now my friends are dead and gone. And there is no turkey as good as a filet, foie gras or bouillabaisse. For reality sets and it sets in hard. Life’s half over and there’s still no yard. No kids, no house, no dog or cat. Not even a mouse. And let us all give thanks for that.
