Your story reminds me of one of my stories. A photographer I really like a lot who was based in Cleveland. Masumi Hayashi. Was in her apartment complex maybe a year or so ago. She went to complain about some noise in a neighboring apartment. She’s older so it’s okay. The person in that apartment shot her. Just shot her. Because she complained. She died.

This is the difference between New York and Cleveland.
